Mystery Revealed: A Beginner’s bible study

A Beginner's View of the Bible --

Should start with a bird's eye view of the entire Bible. In Mystery Revealed, the author first backs up and looks for the message of the whole book -- since it is God's complete solution to the condition of the human race.

From there our attention turns to the unique message of the Old Testament. Next, we explore the New Testament, with its two new ideas, and we discover how the two divisions of the Bible complement each other.

Then the Bible is divided into eight sections -- from Genesis to Revelation -- and we finally start seeing how each major theme in the Bible contributes to our faith in God. Nothing less than the whole Bible is a complete picture of our salvation in Christ.

eight fundamentals of the christian faith

This book covers the basic truths of Christianity that every Christian ought to know!

Hebrews 5 tells us that many believers don't know the simplest doctrines of their faith -- though they've heard the truth from the pulpit and in the classroom many times.

Following the list in Hebrews, Fundamentals carefully examines each basic truth that God expects all of his children to know -- and how each one applies to our faith and daily living.

This book describes ten critical principles that you should learn in order to fully profit from your Bible studies.

These principles are like keys that open the door to the Bible. Using these Keys will illuminate page after page of the Bible's stories and teachings -- in a way that Sunday School never did for you!

Like any tool, you must first master the Keys themselves. Then you can apply the Keys to even familiar passages to start seeing the depth in God's Word, and the grand design of salvation that connects the Old and New Testaments.

Ten keys to the bible

In The Witness, the author takes you through the entire Bible and gives you a chance to listen to the eyewitness testimony of men and women who have seen and heard God.

In a clever legal move, the Bible brings forth "witnesses, whom God has already chosen" who will tell us what God is really like. The Prophets and Apostles all saw him. The Father testifies about his Son, and Jesus testifies about his Father. There are even "hostile witnesses" who can assure us that God really did what the Bible says he did!

Not only is this testimony a solid proof for the truth of the Bible, it gives the people of God the strong foundation that they need for their faith in him.

This grammar on Biblical Greek is designed to give the absolute beginner a fair mastery of the basics of Greek.  But if you would compare it to many other grammars available, you’ll notice that many of the details are missing. That’s because keeping things simple, and limiting the study to the broad principles of Greek grammar, would be the best way for many students to get introduced to the language. And most students of Greek aren’t going to use the language to any great extent.  Their purpose will be primarily to help them understand particular passages in the Greek New Testament.  So we can keep that spirit of enjoyment in learning just the basics -- much of the New Testament really is this simple to work with!
